My research in artificial intelligence has started almost 25 years ago stimulated by the research professors at University of Southern California.

Only until today, computer architecture are so common and available as PCs and iphones that AI has become a very hot topic again.


Currently, I am a taxi driver engaged in Business Intelligence collection to enable the startup of autonomous driving research, which will be funded by the taxi driving.

I left a very stable government job 15 years ago to continue my confidence and vision in the application of computer science. Even I did not start up Google, Facebook, Amazon, or turn Apple around, yet I determined to continue in the technology wave.

Since the last 30 years, computer science has been widely accepted as the essential technology on our desktops and communication tools as a phone.

For the next 30 years, I can envision CS will become the mandatory mobility tool like what we see in transportation today, in a form that is beyond our imagination.


The technology curve is exponential. There is no comparison between human and artificial intelligence, just like the fact that no Olympic runner can move faster that a car.

I have worked in many private and public organizations in addition to ongoing studying and research in major universities.

Every time I went into a workplace or a class, I have been acting as a blink of light. While I cannot change the world completely, but if I can let people see the path in front of them, no matter how long or short was the duration, I wish them well and carry on with the journey.

For me, I am a taxi driver today, very happy and free to enter the new frontier as soon as the timing is right.
